Shakespeare Performance Troupe

Shakespeare Performance Troupe is a student theater group dedicated to performing theatrical works both in and out of the Shakespearean canon. We aim to carry forward dynamics of subversion we find throughout Shakespeare and other theatrical works, while critically engaging with an often complex canon. In doing this work, we work to address the racist past of SPT and Shakespearean theatre to create a more inclusive framework for the future.
